SAINT BONAVENTURE, N.Y. -- The Saint Louis University men's basketball team was left waiting at the arena following Wednesday's night loss in Saint Bonaventure. The team's bus driver was nowhere to be found. However, once she was found, some 35 miles away, she was arrested for DWI. State troopers say she had a blood alcohol content of .22 and the legal limit for a commercial driver is .04.
Naturally, the story created quite a stir on social media.
The SLU team was quick to chime in:
Just chilling in the Reilly Center while we try to find our missing bus. #SCNotTop10 pic.twitter.com/Au9LwpofO1

And so was the voice of SLU, Bob Ramsey:
Insult to injury...

Lose to Bonnie's and our nutty bus driver leaves without the team!
The state troopers are tracking her down!
Serious!
A box of wine, a stolen team bus and a snow storm?= party time in western New York!

The Saint Bonaventure Athletic Director Tim Kenney contributed this after last weekend's "storm the court" fiasco:
I don't think Hollywood could write a script of the what I've dealt with the last four days

And then, of course, there was no shortage from people who just thought it was a bizarre story:
The SLU bus story from last night is bonkers. Driver leaves team at St. Bonaventure & gets DUI while being tracked down by "find my Iphone".
