Former Yankees Captain Derek Jeter and Wife Expecting First Child

NEW YORK - New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter is turning his attention from baseball to babies.

Jeter's wife Hannah announced on his Players Tribune website that they are expecting their first child, a baby girl.

Hannah also included a photo of her husband holding a bouquet of pink balloons.

She also says he has a name in mind for the baby, but she's not set on it yet.

The couple married in July.
