SAN ANTONIO - The Bexar County Sheriff's office is investigating a murder involving a suspect they say jumped from a bridge to his death.
After responding to a call about a shooting in the Scenic Oaks subdivision near Camp Bullis on 7 p.m. on Saturday, deputies found a man dead on the ground and an injured woman inside a car. Officials spent the rest of the night looking for the suspect.
San Antonio police found the suspect around midnight. After hours of negotiations, the suspect jumped off the upper level bridge of I-10 at Culebra around 3 a.m. on Sunday and died.
No word on the identities of the suspect or the victims. The injured woman was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover.
