Staten Islanders learned how to get down on the dance floor country-western style.

Country Sparks Entertainment hosted a line-dancing workshop Sunday at Mason Hall in Tottenville.

From the "rocking chair" to the "grape-vine," experienced instructors led dancers of all skill levels through the basic moves.

The group's founder says he's looking to bring back-country flavor to big-city life.

"You have to travel so far to get your fill of country music so I'm the type of guy who is like you know what I am going to fix this problem and this is how the whole project started," Sparks Country Entertainment founder Anthony Barletta said.

Barletta says he's working to expand the program.
