A third man is being charged in connection with the murder of a Connecticut man last month. 29-year-old Max Gemma of Oceanport, New Jersey, was arraigned on two charges — tampering physical evidence and hindering prosecution.
Investigators believe he was involved in the murder of 26-year-old Joseph Comunale, but they have not specified his role.
Police have already arrested 25-year-old James Rackover and 28-year-old Lawrence Dilione.
They are charged with concealment of a human corpse and tampering with evidence.
Police say Comunale was last seen the morning of Sunday, November 13th at Rackover's Manhattan apartment on East 59th Street near 1st Avenue.
His body was found days later in a shallow grave in Oceanport, New Jersey.
Investigators say he had been stabbed 15 times.
