WILSON - In a time of holiday cheer and peace, neighbors in a Wilson County community are dealing with news of a deadly quadruple shooting.

Nathaniel Edge says, "This, this is bad though. This is bad. A whole family lost their life." The Wilson County Sheriff's Office confirms four people were shot and killed on Christmas Eve with the incident being reported just before 1:00PM in the 2200 block of Banks Lane East. A woman, Brenda, who's mother lives on the street where this happened says, "I can't imagine what their families going through...It's crazy I mean Idk like I said I feel sorry for the people and it being Christmas."

We've been in contact with a woman - who identifies herself as a relative of the victims. She says she set up a Go-fund-me page to raise donations for funeral expenses. The Go-Fund-Me page lists the woman's mother Tammy Pearce and brother Shane Pearce among those who died in the shooting. It also lists the first names of Selby and Nikki as the other victims. The page details that Family discovered all four dead inside the home on Christmas eve. So far investigators have not confirmed the victims' names.

Brenda also tells us the police presence in the neighborhood on Saturday, took them all by surprise. "When they rolled in, and like I said they were rolling in more than, so we knew it had to be somethign more serious than just like you know. I was like this is crazy its Christmas Eve. I mean it is shocking." As for Edge, he says, "Somebody...somebodies not enjoying this Christmas, not this year. And probably many more years to come, probably many more years to come."
