Students See Long Voting Lines at UT Austin

AUSTIN, Texas—Voters have been turning out in droves across the country on Election Day. Early voting in Texas broke records, and elections officials saw heavy turnout in some places on Tuesday.

Some voters at the University of Texas stood in line for hours, where lines stretched around the building.

Elections officials said for the most part, the voting process has gone smoothly across the state.
