NATIONWIDE -- All ITT Technical Institutes across the country will permanently close their doors after the U.S. Department of Education sanctions against the company.
This closure leaves hundreds of thousands of students and 8,000 employees scrambling about what to do next.
The announcement comes just one week after ITT Tech stopped enrolling students due to sanctions that prevented the institution from receiving any federal aid for tuition.
North Carolina is home to several campuses including Charlotte and Durham.
