ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- As Sheriff's week continues to be celebrated in New York State, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office held a promotional ceremony on Thursday.
Dozens of men and women in blue came out to cheer on their peers as they accepted their new titles.
Most notable among the promotions was Jeff DelGudico to Captain in the police Bureau.
The ceremony was in honor of all members of law enforcement who have served Monroe County since 1821.
