Incredible dashcam video of last week's massive pileup on Route 17 in Binghamton was released by Mayor Rich David.
You can see the chain reaction crash happen in real time. The tractor-trailer hit several cars on the side of the road, and you'll also notice a fire on the left hand side of your screen. Seconds later, people start running to help the driver of the white car before it's engulfed, and work to put the fire out.
Miraculously, no one died in the wreck.
The video was posted on the mayor's Facebook page because David wants to identify and thank the good Samaritans that came to the aid of drivers in the pileup. In his post, he thanked everyone for their efforts, including the many first responders who worked the scene.
