Four Escape From Boat Fire on Canandaigua Lake

CANANDAIGUA, NY. -- Four people escaped from a boat fire in Canandaigua Lake Tuesday afternoon.

Deputies say the 1986 Rinker was fully involved when they arrived shortly after 2 p.m.

Everyone aboard, a 27-year-old man, and his three daughters 10, 6, and 4, all from Stanley, jumped from the burning vessel and swam to shore.

Two kids who sustained minor burns, were treated, and released. 

We are told the boat was destroyed.

There's no word on a cause.
