SNEADS FERRY, N.C. -- Hundreds got the chance to checkout all things seafood during the 46th annual Sneads Ferry Shrimp Festival in Onslow County this weekend.
With more than 100 vendors, folks were able to take part in arts and crafts, music and entertainment.
From sauteed shrimp to steamed oysters, attendees got the chance to taste locally caught seafood right off North Carolina's coast.
It's something both organizers and visitors say is important for the local fishing community.
