RHINEBECK N.Y. -- Runners had a chance to spice up the traditional 5K at the Insane Inflatable 5-K in Dutchess County this Saturday.

About 4,000 people were at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds to participate in the unconventional run.

In addition to the 5K, there were also inflatable obstacle courses.

"It's for everybody," co-organizer Anthony Verano said. "You could come out to this course and run as fast as you can if you want or you could walk the course. We've had people sit down half-way through and take a fifteen minute break so it really doesn't matter, it's just a day of fun."

Proceeds from the race were donated to the MidHudson Regional Hospital.
