BURLINGTON, N.C. - The final suspect in the murder of a Burlington man last month turned himself in Friday night.

Police say members of the Women Empower Women group helped convince 17-year-old Keyshawn Chrisp to come down to the Alamance County Jail.

The department had warrants for him on first degree murder and armed robbery charges.

Investigators think Chrisp is one of four people involved in the murder of 21-year-old Kareem Johnson.

They charged 17-year-old Khalil Moore, 19-year-old Jaiquan McDaniel, and 24-year-old Tevin Crisp earlier Friday.

The district attorney says some of them may not leave prison alive.

"I’ve conducted a preliminary investigation of the evidence in the case. And I’ve determined that there are aggravating circumstances that merit seeking the death penalty against one or more of the defendants in this case," said Alamance County District Attorney Pat Nadolsk.

Burlington police say the four robbed and shot Johnson on June 20th on Tillman Street.

He died at the hospital two days later.
