LOWVILLE, N.Y. -- Tuesday kicked off the first day of the Lewis County Fair.

Now in its 196th year, the fair continues to bring people out to Lowville for all kinds of entertainment.

Agriculture is always the main event, but there are plenty of other ways to spend a day.

There is food, games, ride and big events like Tuesday night's fireworks show, a truck and tractor pull, demolition derby and a special concert on Friday night.

Country music singer Logan Mize will take the grandstand.

While the fair is free, tickets to that show range from $15 to $20.

The fair wraps up Saturday night.
