The Roaming Bison Tavern to Replace Molly's Pub on Main Street

The new owner of the former Molly's Pub hopes to reopen the business under a new name by next month.

Owner Greg Herzog says The Roaming Bison Tavern will replace Molly's Pub on Main Street. The restaurant will serve Buffalo-style food with a southern flair. He's currently waiting for the state liquor authority to approve its liquor license.

Buffalo's Common Council and the planning board have already approved the project.

Molly's Pub shut down after bar manager Jeffrey Basil intentionally shoved William Sager Junior down the stairs there two years ago causing Sager's death.
