If you haven't taken a picture with the infamous "Scary Lucy" statue in Chautauqua County -- you don't have much time left.
A new statue to honor Celeron native Lucille Ball will be unveiled on August 6, according to sculptor Carolyn Palmer, a day that coincides with the day the "I Love Lucy" star was born.
The current Lucy statue was unveiled back in 2009, but came under fire recently because of what many call an ugly and scary expression on Lucy's face.
Palmer says due to the negative reaction to the current statue, she's somewhat intimidated about releasing her new version that she calls "more glamorous" than its predecessor.
"I hope that everyone loves her and I hope that I did a great service to who she was," Palmer says.
The current statue will be be displayed at the National Comedy Center that's being built in Jamestown.
