ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- An ambulance on the campus of The University of Rochester on Tuesday, will remember a life while saving them for years to come.

This vehicle was dedicated at an outdoor ceremony to alumnus Zhe “Zack” Zeng.

The former Brighton Volunteer Ambulance member died during the September 11th attacks.

The two hijacked planes crashed into the World Trade Center about three blocks from the Bank where he worked.

Zeng died while administering first-aid to the injured near the fallen towers.

"U of R was kind enough to host this ceremony because we just dedicated this new ambulance Brighton 3059 in memory of Zach and the rescuers who died on September 11th, 2001," said Michael Pollock, a Brighton Ambulance volunteer.

This was the second ambulance dedicated in his name.

Zeng was a 1995 electrical engineering graduate and also a graduate of the Simon Business School, earning his MBA in 1998.
