An ex-girlfriend of Gabriel Vega testifies that Vega admitted to her that he killed Vanessa Milligan.
Vega is accused of choking her in 2014 and setting her home on fire to cover the crime.
Today, Kim Virola testified that two months after that fire, Vega told her he had gone to Vanessa's home to speak to her, and then choked her. When he realized she was dead, poured gasoline over her and set the home on fire. When asked why she didn't go to police, she said Vega threatened her and she promised she wouldn't go.
