Bravest Men and Women Featured in New FDNY Calendar

The FDNY has released its annual "Calendar of Heroes" and it features some notable changes.

For the first time, the calendar is a two-in-one featuring 12 months of both New York's bravest women and men.

A woman was first featured in the calendar's 2015 edition.

In addition to firefighters, the 2017 addition also includes some of of the department's EMTs and paramedics.

A calendar costs $15.95, and proceeds go towards the FDNY Foundation, which funds fire safety education and training.
