A Cattaraugus County man will spend 25 years behind bars after he was found guilty of murder.
The county D.A. says Gary Maull was sentenced Monday for his conviction of second-degree murder. Gary Maull was found guilty in the death of Otis Lamont Parks. Investigators say Parks was shot to death at an overlook on Route 16 South in the town of Allegany in August.
Prosecutors believe Maull thought Parks was going to testify against him in an upcoming case. His accomplice Thomas Hall was sentenced to 7 1/2 years to 15 years in prison for helping to commit the crime.
