The Starpoint School District has a new leader. The district's board of education has appointed Sean Croft its next superintendent.
Croft will replace Douglas Whelan when Whelan retires June 30. Croft has been the district's assistant superintendent of instruction, assessment and staff development for the past nine years.
He's been with the district for a total of 16 years.
