A Syracuse woman faces charges for allegedly forcing someone to withdraw money from an ATM.

The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office say the incident started in the parking lot of the Upstate University Hospital Community Campus on Broad Road in Onondaga. Deputies say the victim was confronted by 48-year-old Dena Phoenix outside her vehicle. Phoenix claimed she needed a ride and ordered the victim to drive to a nearby ATM where an undisclosed amount of cash was taken out.

The victim was not hurt. Phoenix is charged with third degree robbery and second degree unlawful imprisonment.

Deputies believe there could be more victims, and they ask anyone with information to call 315-435-3081.
