GREENSBORO -- A custom-built Harley is one of 64 other bikes across the nation competing for Harley Davidson's Custom Kings crown.

The crew in Greensboro had to re-engineer and redesign some of the parts to bring this custom sportster bike to life.

The elmination process of the contest is similar to that of a March Madness bracket, starting with 64 bikes, until one is crowned the winner.

The store's owner says it's quite an accomplishment to be in the top 64, considering all 600 Harley-Davidson stores had the chance to enter.

"About 180 got in, and so, to be in top 64 right off the bat is a huge honor. It's been more fun than anything. It gives us a chance to show our customers what we're capable of, what we can do,” said Mark Wheelihan, owner of Harley-Davidson of Greensboro

Voting for the first round ends this Sunday.

The winner will be crowned April 12th.
