UTICA, N.Y. -- Utica police have spent much of the day Friday on the scene of a deadly crash on the Memorial Parkway.
It was around 2 a.m. when a driver lost control near Master Garden Road and hit a tree.
He's since been identified as 23-year old Jason Waterman of Utica.
An accident reconstruction team spent hours inspecting the damage, trying to piece together the investigation.
Police have not yet released a caused the crash, but a combination of the snow and ice had made the roads extremely slick overnight.
