A Schenectady man is facing felony burglary and sexual assault charges after police say he assaulted an elderly woman.
Schenectady police say 21-year-old David Sinkler, forced his way into an apartment inside Schonowee Village Saturday.
That's when he allegedly sexually assaulted the female who lived inside the home.
Police say the elderly woman, did not know Sinkler.
Sinkler was arraigned Monday morning, and remains in custody of the Schenectady County Sheriff's Department.
