Time Warner Cable News Reporter Annette Garcia has a passion for news that is shared by the fellow journalists in her family. But Annette has also found great joy in the green thumb she's developed through gardening.
Born and raised in San Antonio's South Side, Annette's dreams of becoming a reporter began to sprout roots while she was attending the University of the Incarnate Word, where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree.

- Annette isn't the only journalist in the family -- she has a sister who has also worked as a TV news reporter and a husband who is a TV news producer.
- She also studied music at the University of the Incarnate Word, her alma mater.
- Annette loves Conjunto and Tejano music, an interest she inherited from her father who is a musician (He plays the accordion).
- Her favorite meal is a turkey dinner with all the fixings.
- Is happy to let her husband do the cooking.
- Her guilty pleasures include watching "Law and Order SVU" and "Boy Meets World" marathons. Yes, she's also watching "Girl Meets World."
