If Black Friday has you burned out –or just isn't your thing –an Austin tradition may be the way to go.
It's the 15th year for the Blue Genie Art Bazaar at the Marchesa Hall.
More than 200 Austin artists and business owners are selling the type of gifts you can't find in stores.
There's a little bit of everything –from home decor, to jewelry, and plenty of Texas inspired creations.
Buying local not only supports neighborhood companies but also gives shoppers a chance to find special items.
"We really pride ourselves on having a relaxed shopping experience. It's real hassle free. You can shop at your own pace. We're not overrun with people. We are over run with creativity, but you really have the space and time to pause and enjoy each person's work," said Dana Younger of the Blue Genie Art Bazaar.
The Bazaar is open every day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. up until Christmas Eve, December 24th when they will be closing at 6 p.m.
