Downtown Raleigh's Tir Na Nog Hosts Goodbye Party Before Closing

RALEIGH - After 18 years, a popular Irish pub in downtown Raleigh  closed its doors.

Tir Na Nog pub held a goodbye party Sunday on South Blount Street.

The 8,000 square foot restaurant will be leased to neighboring restaurant Bida Manda.

Plans include opening a brewery, florist shop and bookstore in the space in the next year.
