HOUNSFIELD, N.Y. – Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies have identified the man killed in a Town of Hounsfield crash over the weekend.
Deputies say 24-year-old Daniel Boyd or Oregon died from his injuries after the vehicle he was a passenger in hit a tree off of County Route 63 early Saturday morning.
Officials say the man behind the wheel, 24-year-old Cameron Brown of Carthage, had a blood alcohol content twice the legal limit.
Brown was treated for minor injuries.
He was arraigned on second degree vehicular manslaughter and DWI charges and sent to the county jail.
