For the last six weeks, individuals from Wildwood Programs have learned choreography from the members of Motown the Musical.
Proctors Theater helped 20 participants, from ages 16 to 60, learn the moves from the show. The members of Wildwood got this opportunity through Proctors' participation with The Broadway League.
"We thought who is an underserved population in the area with arts programming?" Proctors Education Program Manager Katherine Stephens said. "So we created this grant and this program, and decided these are individuals who deserve just as much education as people in the general population."
Motown the Musical plays at Proctors Theater through Sunday, November 22.
