The clock tower at the University of Texas is one of the most iconic figures on the Forty Acres.

It inspired one student to create a replica made entirely out of LEGOs.

UT senior Hamilton Leiser is the artist who built the tower. Leiser came up with the idea after he saw a LEGO model of  DKR Memorial Stadium in the student activity center.

It took him three months to complete the nearly 15,000-brick project.

"I kind of just built as I went," Leiser said. "I went on campus during the summer and took some photos of the tower, and built it based on those photos."

The tower is four feet tall, lights up and has four working clocks.

You can check out the LEGO Tower on the ground level of the main hospitality desk at the Texas Union.

The LEGO Tower is located at the Texas Union right off Guadalupe.

It’s on the 1st floor next to the hospitality desk.
