SAN ANTONIO -- The Bexar County District Attorney's Office is reviewing last month's deadly deputy-involved shooting that was caught on video and shared around the world.

The DA's office says it now has most of the material involved, but they're still awaiting forensic results.

On Aug. 28, Gilbert Flores was shot and killed on the front lawn of a home on the Northwest Side.

Deputies said they were answering a domestic disturbance call and found an injured baby and woman at Flores' home and tried to arrest him.

The Bexar County Sheriff's Offfice said Flores had a knife in his hand and that he resisted arrest.

The deputies said they first used a non-lethal weapon, but when that didn't work, they shot him.

A video shot by a bystander appears to show Flores with his hands up when he was shot.

Deputies Greg Vasquez and Robert Sanchez are on administrative leave, which is standard procedure.

Investigators say the review could take several months.

They have no plans to release a second video of the incident or any other evidence until the case is resolved.
