RALEIGH- The U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion has a new leader.
Lieutenant Colonel Ted Hudson took command Friday morning during a ceremony at the State Capitol.
Most recently, Hudson served in Afghanistan and spend the past two years with the exercise chief for the Joint Special Operations Command.
Hudson talked about the importance of his role in making sure the center has what it needs to be successful.
"It’s kind of at my level, you know, working through the command teams and have them in place below and above to make sure we’re equipped when we need to in terms of priority and resources to make the center successful,” Hudson said.
