POLAND, N.Y. -- It all started with a wish for new cowboy boots and a birthday visit from country superstar Jason Aldean.
Maddox Clark didn't ask for much for his 7th birthday, and while the boots sound easy to come by, a visit from Aldean was a bit of a bigger request.
But Maddox was persistent. After all, Jason Aldean is his favorite country singer.
"He's very good at singing and I love him. I love his songs!" says Maddox Clark.
Jason Aldean didn't make it to Maddox's birthday party but on the morning of his birthday, he was at Big Frog 104 doing a live interview, and it was during the interview that he revealed a present for Maddox. Watch the video to see the big reveal.
Maddox is going to visit Jason Aldean in New York City on Friday at the TODAY Show. Along with the news, Aldean sent Maddox an autographed photo.
"My birthday was awesome. I got a slingshot, this, and new cowboy boots!"
Maddox said that this has been the best birthday ever and he's all prepared for his big meet and greet.
