SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Downtown Farmers Market is officially open for business at Clinton Square in Syracuse.

It's a way for downtown neighbors to get their hands on some farm-fresh produce without venturing too far.

And new this year -- the market will be offering featured recipes and occasional cooking classes for families with young children.

The market will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Tuesday through October 13.
