UFC fighter Jon Jones' most recent run-in with the law cost him endorsements, his light-heavyweight title and brought on felony charges.
Now the hit-and-run crash is back in the spotlight after a video surfaced on YouTube, along with the 911 phone call that was made from the scene.
Online mixed martial arts magazine, MMA Digest, uploaded the video to recently, showing the crash scene and how New Mexico police officers discovered Jones' identity while conducting a search of his car.
Witnesses and an off-duty police officer near the scene identified Jones as the driver of the SUV that crashed into two other vehicles. A pregnant woman broke her arm during the incident, and Jones will face a felony charge because of the injury.
Police were told that Jones fled the scene, but then returned to the car to grab a handful of cash before taking off again.
During the video authorities find a pipe with marijuana in the SUV, as well as MMA and rental car documents in Jones' name.
He turned himself in following the incident and was released on $2,500 bond. He is waiting to see if his case will be brought in front of a grand jury.
