Buffalo Church Rolls Out Food Truck

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A local church has created a food truck to feed the hungry for free.

True Bethel Baptist Church unveiled its Bread of Heaven food truck Friday. The truck was purchased and custom built by the church.

Pastor Darius Pridgen of True Bethel said the idea was to offer a food source in what he considers neglected parts of the city.

"It will be in housing projects. We want to be in the the areas where there is least attention to for these type of things," he said.

The church will use social media to promote the truck. It will make the rounds three days a week during the summer.
