GARNER, N.C.- Outdoor enthusiasts lined up early Thursday morning for the grand opening of the first Cabela's in North Carolina. Located in Garner, the outdoor store will feature an indoor archery range, aquarium, boat store and deli.
People lined up Thursday in hopes of grabbing a door prize when the store opens. The first five hundred customers through the door will receive a gift card. Other door prizes are scheduled to be given out Friday and throughout the weekend.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at 10 a.m. and ended with an arrow shot from a bow by a Cabela's employee. A week-long celebration will be held following the grand opening.
