Demonstrators stripped down Wednesday in Syracuse to encourage people to keep animal skin out of the closet.
PETA supporters from Brooklyn took to the ice in Clinton Square nearly naked dressed as a fox and a rabbit.
Their goal was to encourage people to buy vegan clothing, rather than clothes made from animal fur or skin.
"When people see the cruelty that animals go through before they become bits and pieces of clothing, they want nothing to do with products like wool, fur, angora and leather," said Ashley Burn.
The skaters held a similar demonstration in Rochester Tuesday.
