Yolanda Vega revealed the winner of the largest Mega Millions jackpot claimed in New York state history -- and he's from Sullivan County.

Harold Diamond, 80, bought the $326 million ticket in November at the Valero gas station in Middletown.

On Monday, Diamond went back to that store to pick up the giant check.

Diamond, a retired elementary school principal from Wurtsboro, spoke about the moment he realized he won.

"And I saw the numbers," Diamond said. "And I saw the first five numbers. So I immediately knew I won a million. And then when I saw the last number, I yelled up to my wife, 'I think we won a few bucks.'"

Diamond has opted to take a lump sum cash prize of more than $197 million, which will equal $130 million after taxes.
