FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Keep Spinning Studios, like all other gyms in the state, is still shut down because of the pandemic.

Trying to stay afloat and be available to its members has been hard, but the ownership has improvised and found some ways to keep going.

About three weeks after the shutdown started, the gym began renting equipment to some of its members. The reason was so those members could exercise at home.

More recently, the gym started bringing its indoor exercise bikes outside, and holding indoor bike classes under a tent.

One gym member we spoke with says the folks running the gym helped her start to achieve her fitness goals. She says she had lost 30 pounds since all of this started and wanted to continue the fitness regimen.

Temps were in the 90s on Saturday, so the bike classes were really intense. Despite the heat, at least two indoor bike classes were held outside.
