WAKE COUNTY, N.C. – A man accused of stabbing four members of his family over the weekend is expected back in court on September 27.

• Carl Barkley is accused of stabbing his wife and three children.
• One of the victims was as young as 16.
• He was expected in front of a judge Tuesday.

According to court documents, Carl Barkley, 54, is set to face a judge to answer to several charges of Assault With a Deadly Weapon With Intent to Kill.

Barkley was previously expected to be in court on September 10. However, that date has been postponed.

Investigators say he stabbed his wife and three children Sunday night at their Raleigh home. 

He was arrested in Wilson County Monday. 

Barkley is being held on a $2.5 million bond.

At last check, his family members were still in the hospital.
