WAKE COUNTY, N.C. – Teachers in Wake County who plan to participate in the second teachers rally on May 1 now have a free option for childcare.

  • Teachers across the state are marching on Raleigh on May 1.
  • The Salvation Army of Wake County has volunteered to watch WCPSS teacher's children.
  • The service is free, but there is an activity fee. 

The Wake County Salvation Army’s Red Shield Club has volunteered to watch kids of the teachers.

The service is free, but there is a charge for activities.
