  • Both are white males in their 30s
  • Anyone with info, call Siler City police at 919-742-5626

The store found six buggies with the razor blades.

The department has established two persons of interests. One is a white male who appears to be in his lower to mid-20s with a thin build, brown hair, and seen driving a tan, late model Chevrolet Suburban or GMC SUV.

The other suspect appears to be a white male in his 40s with a medium build, about 5'5" tall, and has brown hair and a thick heavy beard with a light mustache. That man was last seen wearing a bright yellow hat, blue T-shirt with Carthartt logo on front, a dark jacket, dark pants, and work boots. He was the passenger in the first person of interest's car.

We reached out to Walmart and they provided the following statement on the incident:

“We are aware of the situation and appalled that someone would do this in our stores. While we’ve found no further signs of tampering, we’re continuing to inspect our carts. We will continue working with police and aid in their investigation however possible and are referring additional questions to them.”

Anyone with information on the persons of interest is asked to call the Siler City Police Department at 919-742-5626.

Additionally, any Walmart customer who reported being cut by the razors is asked to call Sgt. Murray at the Siler City Police Department at the same number.
