GARNER, N.C. -- A father is facing child abuse charges after injuring his 14-year-old son in an accidental shooting.

• James Johnson, 45, was arrested after the Saturday night incident on Powell Drive.
• The child is in critical condition but is expected to be OK.
• In court Monday, Johnson got a pre-trial release. His bond is set at $50,000.
