LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. – The State Highway Patrol is trying to determine the identity of a body found in the Neuse River in Lenoir County.

The body was found near King Street Boat Landing around 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

Back in December, an 18-wheeler was found in the river after running off US 80. However, divers were never able to find the driver. It is possible the body is that of the driver.
