GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The aftermath of Sunday's record-breaking storm continues to make a mess across the Triad.

As crews continue to make progress on both primary and secondary roads, they're still asking you to take it slow.

There were several wrecks just around Greensboro, before 9 a.m. Cars are still hitting patches of ice and spinning out or hitting other cars.

Many people are also not clearing the snow off their cars and leaving blocks of frozen snow on the roads.

According to Master Trooper Brandon Baker, the biggest problem they're seeing right now is people driving at normal speeds.

He says he has also seen water running down exit ramps, which then freezes.

The message authorities are giving out is to take your time, give yourself space, and clear all the snow off your car.
