Happy Thursday! A cold morning, will turn into a brisk afternoon. Staying dry to end the week, with wet weather on the way this weekend.

Mostly sunny today, with mid to upper 40s for the Triad and upper 40s to lower 50s for the Triangle and Sandhills. Tonight will be cold, but not as cold as it was this morning. Look for lows in the 30s, under a partly cloudy sky. Tomorrow will be similar to today, with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Cold air will move in Saturday, but the day looks to start off dry. Precipitation in the form of rain, sleet, snow could move in Saturday night and continue through Sunday. Then more wet weather continues through Sunday night into Monday; with some wintry weather still possible. The details are still difficult to pin down, but confidence is increasing for at least some accumulation in the Triad/VA border counties.
