After several days of sunshine, we'll be ending the week with more clouds across North Carolina.

With high pressure slipping to our south, southerly winds will bring more moisture and milder air back across North Carolina for Friday and the weekend.

Clouds will increase across the state through the night. And with the clouds and southerly winds, overnight lows will not be as cold.

We will see more clouds on Friday with a slight chance for a few sprinkles or light showers during the day.

Shower chances will increase on Saturday along with the temperatures and most of the area seeing highs in the 60s. Evening warmer weather is expected on Sunday with the chance for a few isolated thunderstorms.

In the tropics, one day remains in the Atlantic Basin tropical season for 2018 and all is quiet.
